Sejak penubuhannya, PBSM Cawangan Kuala Lumpur telah menunjukkan kejayaan yang sangat baik dan Tan Sri Mohamed semasa Mesyuarat Agung Tahunan ke-20 pada 30 Jun, 1985 di Dewan Bandaraya Penthouse telah memuji PBSM KL seperti berikut:-
“Leaders of other Branches were urged to follow the outstanding example of the Federal Territory Branch.”
YM Tunku Tan Sri Mohamed told the leaders: “If a young Branch like Wilayah could undertake all these activities and succeed, I am sure you too could do it.”
YBH Datin Paduka Ruby Lee summoned up for all when she said: “Excellent job and well done. Keep it up!”
Those who heard the unexpected tribute were the Minister of Welfare Services and Vice President of the Malaysian Red Crescent Society YB Dato Abu Hassan Hj. Omar, Wilayah Chairman YAA Tan Sri Abdul Hamid Omar and his committee members, secretary – general YBH Datin Paduka Ruby Lee, Council Members and top leaders from other Branches and Districts.
All these comments were sweet music to ears of Federal Territory Branch Chairman, leaders and members who have been assessing their effectiveness as a young Branch.
